💄💋MASCARA HACKS: FREE & EASY 🤩
Have you ever wondered if fancy and pricey mascara might make your lashes look better? It turns out, it’s not the product, it’s how you’re applying it. Here are my Lash Tips + Tricks for turning the mascara already in your drawer into lashes what will WOW right now 😉
My first mascara hack is one of my favorites because it’s so important! Never stick mascara on naked eyelashes. Instead, start with a powder or lash primer. This lash primer is my all time favorite!
While it is super tempting to apply your mascara upwards, there is a much better method. Instead, brush DOWN on your lashes. After, go in and brush to the top like normal! I start at the base and do a little jiggle to make sure I’m coating all of my lashes and then stretch. This way, you leave more mascara at the bottom which adds volume to your look.
If you struggle with getting mascara on your eyelids, try this mascara hack. Use a plastic spoon as a guard, getting mascara on the spoon instead of your lids!
And what do you do if you end up getting mascara on your eyelids? The key is to let it dry! Once you do this, it will flake right off.
Did you know that pumping your mascara tube actually adds more air, making your mascara more dry. Run it under some warm water and it makes your mascara feel and act brand new!
One tool I LOVE using is a spoolie. These help with separating the mascara to evenly coat every lash!
My last mascara tip might surprise you, but I don’t believe in putting mascara on your bottom lashes! Applying mascara to the bottom lashes drags down your eyes overall. Applying mascara on the top should be enough! If you want some color on the bottom, I suggest applying a bit of eyeliner!
