The only 2 ingredients you need are any liquid dish soap (the kind you’d normally use if you were hand washing dishes) and baking soda! Use just 2-3 drops of dish soap and use enough baking soda to fill the reservoir. Then, run it like normal!

Are you a Costco fan? I truly LOVE Costco, it’s like a outing instead of a chore 🤗 So many fun and sparkly new things grab your attention, which might explain why it’s hard tell if you’re getting the best deal. To be fair, Costco doesn’t advertise themselves as the best price in town, but for some reason, we’ve been trained to think everything there is a deal. While a lot of items are a big savings, here are the 5 items you’re better off grabbing at your local grocery store 😉

Item 1: Chicken

This is probably the most surprising item. You can find chicken A LOT cheaper at Aldi, Walmart, and Vons, saving up to 30%! The best part? You don’t have to buy chicken in bulk.

Item 2: Organic Milk

Organic milk at Costco costs around 25% more than your local grocery store. You are better off buying it there, and again, you don’t have to buy it in bulk.

Item 3: Soda

When it comes to soda, you are going to want to buy this at the grocery store. Grocery stores do something called a “loss leader,” marking down Soda to really low prices to attract costumers.

Have you ever had your credit card info stolen, but your card is still in your wallet? This literally happened to me twice in 2 weeks! I kid you not! Here’s the safest way to pay when using a credit card with my savvy credit card hack.

Believe it or not, swiping your card is the easiest way to get your card information stolen. It’s becoming more and more common for criminals to compromise card machines with card readers which steal your information from the magnetic strip on your credit card. Make sure to stick to the tap or chip feature to keep your card information and bank account safe. In other words, chip it instead of strip it🙌

LORAfied On-the-Go: Copycat McDonald’s McGriddle Recipe

Have you ever wondered how Mickey D’s gets those little pockets of maple syrup in their McGriddle buns? Honestly, we’ve given it a lot of conversation in my house because Kid 3 is obsessed with this breakfast sandwich! After years of thought on this one, I’ve cracked the code on both the bun and their folded egg. The best part is, these McGriddles are a fraction of the price!

LORAfied Copycat McGriddle

INGREDIENTS
Prepared pancake batter of choice, GF works as well
Dehydrated maple bits (click HERE)
1 egg per sandwich
1 slice of bacon per sandwich
4” round mold, a jar lid ring works, too

Begin by heating your pan over medium heat. After spraying your pancake ring molds and pan with oil, scoop pancake mix into each ring and add the secret ingredient- maple bits. Cook until bubbles form, then flip.

In a separate pan, cook scrambled egg, folding 4 times. NOTE: You do not flip the egg before folding, the heat will cook it as you fold.

Now it’s time to assemble:

Maple Pancake
Egg
1 Slice Bacon
1 Slice American Cheese
Maple Pancake

How often do you wash your hand towels? I’m talking about that one everyone in the house uses, including your guests. Did you know drying your hands with a two day old hand towel may be the equivalent to sticking your hands in the toilet and flushing 😳 Yes, sister! OH MY WORD! The minute I learned this… I made this easy, affordable change. Bonus: your guests love them, too!

Start off by finding a cute tray to display the towels. Next, pick out some affordable napkins, hand towels, or even bar towels. After putting the hand towels on display, make sure to keep a basket for them to be tossed and ready for the wash. How easy is that!?

My Moldy Berry Hack to Keep Your Berries Fresh

What do you do when you see a moldy berry in your container? 😳 Do you toss them all? Now, you don’t have to, saving both your berries and your wallet! Here’s the super EASY and FAST berry hack to make sure your berries are mold free! And this helps them last longer, too!

Berry Hack Mold Busting Mix:
4 cups water
1 cup distilled white vinegar

Begin by removing any molded berries and even the good ones that may have touched it. After putting the good berries in a bowl, let them soak in the mixture for 5 minutes. After draining and rinsing, let them dry before enjoying!

How to Make 4 Ingredient Beer Bread

beer breadToday I am sharing my easy and delicious beer bread. It’s SO EASY, no kneading, no yeast (that’s already in the beer) and no rising! Plus, the beer bakes out and doesn’t taste like beer at all. If you’re not a fan, or don’t have any on hand, you can substitute soda water! 🤗

 

LORAfied Beer Bread
INGREDIENTS:
3 Cups self-rising flour
1 to 4 Tablespoons sugar (I use all 4)
3 Tablespoons melted butter, plus 1 T. for topping
1 1/2 Cups beer OR soda water

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 375F
Mix everything together in a large bowl, it will be a little lumpy. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes. Cool a bit before cutting.

NOTES: I’m not a beer drinker and love this bread! Apparently, I’m using a stout and not a “beer”, I apologize, either works!
