Have you ever wondered if fancy and pricey mascara might make your lashes look better? It turns out, it’s not the product, it’s how you’re applying it. Here are my Lash Tips + Tricks for turning the mascara already in your drawer into lashes what will WOW right now 😉

My first mascara hack is one of my favorites because it’s so important! Never stick mascara on naked eyelashes. Instead, start with a powder or lash primer. This lash primer is my all time favorite!

While it is super tempting to apply your mascara upwards, there is a much better method. Instead, brush DOWN on your lashes. After, go in and brush to the top like normal! I start at the base and do a little jiggle to make sure I’m coating all of my lashes and then stretch. This way, you leave more mascara at the bottom which adds volume to your look.

If you struggle with getting mascara on your eyelids, try this mascara hack. Use a plastic spoon as a guard, getting mascara on the spoon instead of your lids!

And what do you do if you end up getting mascara on your eyelids? The key is to let it dry! Once you do this, it will flake right off.

Did you know that pumping your mascara tube actually adds more air, making your mascara more dry. Run it under some warm water and it makes your mascara feel and act brand new!

One tool I LOVE using is a spoolie. These help with separating the mascara to evenly coat every lash!

My last mascara tip might surprise you, but I don’t believe in putting mascara on your bottom lashes! Applying mascara to the bottom lashes drags down your eyes overall. Applying mascara on the top should be enough! If you want some color on the bottom, I suggest applying a bit of eyeliner!

The Best Cookie Hacks!

🍪🤩 COOKIE HACKS: FREE + EASY 🤯 Store Bought OR Homemade👩‍🍳

Do you ever wonder why bakery cookies aren’t burnt on the bottom? Why they all look uniform and are soft & chewy? Turns out, it isn’t their cookie dough, it’s what they’re doing with that dough 😉 Here are my cookie hacks that will make you look like a pro and they don’t cost a thing 💕

1. Parchment Paper = No Burnt Bottoms
Using parchment paper is key! It’s going to act as an insulator so your cookie bottoms don’t brown. Nothing worse than a burnt bottom!

2. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes
Stick your cookie dough in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before baking. Your cookies will turn out softer and chewier with this cookie hack!

3. Uniform Cookies
When cookies come out of the oven, it’s inevitable they aren’t going to look identical. BUT, there is a way to make them look uniform! Once your cookies come out of the oven, use a cup and place the rim over the cookie. Give the cup a spin to help shape the cookie. Remember to do this the second you pull your cookies out of the oven!

4. Flaky Sea Salt
While your cookies are still warm, add a little flaky sea salt. I promise this is a cookie game-changer!

My Quick Dice Onion Hack!

Do you like chopping onions? I don’t know anyone who truly does and the temptation to buy precut at the store is real! But pre diced onions cost about 400% more than buying a whole onion and cutting it yourself … so here’s an onion hack that will keep money in your wallet AND it’s tear free 🎉

This quick diced onion hack is SUPER easy! Start by chopping off the end of the onion. Next, cut all around the onion, making little slits. Check the pictures above for an exact reference!

Now, turn your onion on its side and slice like normal. These slits are the key to dicing the onion in just seconds!

And the best part? No tears! Because we kept the root on, there are no tears to cry sis.

What’s the biggest chocolate bunny you’ve ever received at Easter? The average chocolate bunny weights around 1/3 a pound! So when I saw the 10 pounder called Pete at Costco, it stopped me in my bunny tracks 😂 Did I just blow my entire Easter decorating budget on this guy? Genius Buttered Popcorn Hack

🍿POPCORN HACK 🤯 The PERFECT AMOUNT of BUTTER 🧈

Have you ever snuck a snack into the movies? Candy and a can of soda pop is pretty easy, but that movie popcorn just can’t be duplicated! So if we’re going to pay the price for bucket of popcorn it would be nice to have every bite perfectly buttered wouldn’t it?! 🤩 Here’s a hack that will change your popcorn game forever 🎬

We all know the struggle of trying to get an even layer of butter on our popcorn. No more struggling with the butter dispenser… instead grab a plastic spray bottle. My super cute bottle is glass and fits in your pocket. It’s also airplane approved!

Now time for the hack… instead of dispensing butter onto the popcorn, we are actually going to fill our mini spray bottle with melted butter! I know it sounds crazy, but trust me on this one. Our bottle is going into the movies with us.

All that’s left to do is spray the popcorn with a layer of that melted butter. The best part is, you can spray after every layer you eat, making sure the butter is evenly distributed on your popcorn.

The Best Easter Egg Hack Ever!

🤩🥚EASTER EGG HACK: Color & Cook AT THE SAME TIME 🤯

Are you coloring easter eggs this year? Since I started decorating them this way, I’m never going back! You feel like you’re making works of art 💕 You won’t believe how EASY and GORGEOUS they are in person! My husband, Scooter, who has never commented on Easter eggs can’t stop talking about them, they are that INCREDIBLE 😍

The best part of this hack? We are going to cook and color the eggs at the same time! It’s so easy- we even start with raw eggs. You are going to take one and wrap it around a piece of silk fabric. Now just follow this with an outer layer of muslin- this will keep it from bleeding onto the other eggs.

Next, place your covered eggs into a pot of water with 3-6 Tablespoons of vinegar. Turn on the stove and bring water to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 mins. Remove your eggs and let cool.

Once they cool down it’s time for the fun part! The final step is unwrapping your eggs and polishing them with oil. It’s like you are unwrapping a gift! And here’s a nice little bonus: this year, you aren’t going to be left with food coloring on your fingers.

LORAfied Mini Waffle Sausage Sticks
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 Tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1½ cups milk (any kind)
⅓ cup (2/3 stick) melted butter (cooled to room temperature)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Nonstick cooking spray or melted butter, for greasing
18 cooked sausage patties (pork, chicken, or plant-based), thawed if frozen
18 wooden coffee stir sticks
Melted butter and maple syrup, for dipping (in separate bowls or mixed together)

1. Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions
2. Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Whisk the eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla in a large bowl.
3. Stir the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined, taking care not to overmix. If the batter seems too thick (it should be pourable), stir in a little more milk.
4. Spray your preheated waffle iron with cooking spray.
5. Insert a stick into the edge of each sausage through the center to the other side. Dip a patty into the batter and then set it in the waffle iron.
6. Close the lid and cook according to the waffle iron manufacturer’s instructions, or until golden brown.
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 to make the remaining waffles, spraying with more cooking spray between batches to prevent sticking.
8. Serve with bowls of melted butter and maple syrup for dipping.

Low Carb McDonald’s Big Arch Burger Hack

🍔 McDONALD’S DIET HACK: LOW CARB BIG ARCH 🤩

Have you heard about McDonald’s new burger? Well, new to us here in America… Mickey D’s has been taste testing it in a good chunk of Europe and Canada for a while. Getting any nutritional breakdown on this one was a McDoozy 😵‍💫 It took me some time, especially figuring out the calorie and carb count on that toasted sesame and poppy seed bun, but I FINALLY found some deet’s on that component thanks to mcmenuprices.com out of the UK 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 & Ireland 🇮🇪 Get ready to screenshot my orders complete with their calorie and carb breakdowns because you’re not going to find this specific info anywhere else…McDonald’s certainly isn’t going to share it as this is their highest calorie and carb laden burger yet 😳 Not to worry, I’ve hacked the Big Arch for ya so you can try it without blowing your diet 🥳

📝 NOTES:
1 beef patty: 220 calories, 18 grams protein, 0 carbs
1 slice of white cheddar processed cheese: 50 calories, 3 grams protein, 0 carbs
1 toasted sesame and poppy seed bun: 212 calories, 38 carbs, 7 grams protein

Although the new Big Arch burger looks delicious, the nutritional facts on this guy are something else. This new McDonald’s burger comes in at 1,020 calories, 59 carbs, and 53 grams of protein. You could have almost 2 big macs for one of these! If you want to try the big arch without all the calories and carbs, try these two low carb versions I put together.

For this first low carb option, all I’ve done is removed the bun and 1 slice of cheese. This brings the big arch burger down to 758 calories, 43g of protein, and 21 carbs!

This second option is my personal favorite way to eat this guy. I removed the bun, 1 slice of cheese, and one of the burger patties. We’ve still got a quarter pounder of beef and all of the goodness. The Thanksgiving onions are my favorite part of this and totally worth the carbs! The zesty sauce is also great… it’s like the Big Mac sauce with a kick! This guy comes down to 538 calories, 25g of protein, and 21g of carbs.

This is a low carb hack you probably didn’t see coming, but trust me, sis! I went through the McDonald’s drive-thru and ordered a medium Diet Coke and asked them to add 1 pump of sugar-free vanilla. For this dirty soda hack, you’re going to need two McDonald’s creamers and pour them right in!

You won’t believe that this only has 40 calories and 2 carbs! It seriously tastes like you are drinking an ice cream float. This is how you make Swig at your local McDonald’s!

This is my setting powder secret! This Physicians Formula setting powder is better than any high end setting powder out there, like Guerlain’s setting powder that costs over $60!
