Cheese Storing Hack That Will Save You Money

Cheese Hack

What do you do with leftover cheese? Feta and buffalo mozzarella are pricey, and they start going bad the minute you open them. Here’s a handy hack to help them last longer, saving you money!

Put the cheese in a container and cover it with a water and salt solution. Feta cheese will keep up to 3 weeks this way. Buffalo mozzarella for 1 week. This is one of my favorite money saving hacks!

The Easiest Nut Butter Hack That Will Stop the Oily Mess

Nut Butter Hack

Doesn’t that layer of oil at the top of your nut butter jar drive you nuts? (Pun intended!) Trying to stir it without making a mess is nearly impossible, until now! I have a simple hack that’s going to stop the mess. Trust me, I know a thing or two about these spreads, I personally have a dozen different flavors in my refrigerator right now and eat some at least once, if not twice a day. I can’t live without it and IMO should be it’s own food group.

This hack may be the easiest one yet! One step; you’re going to take the nut butter jar and turn it upside down. This causes the oil to go to the bottom which is now the new top. That’s it!

Game Changing Hack That Will Save Your Kitchen Sink

Kitchen Sink Hack

How do you strain the grease off your cooked meat without it going down the drain? My answer used to be “very carefully”, until this hack came along! Grab your aluminum foil and meet me at the sink!

Take some foil and line your drain. Then, grab your strainer and drain your meat directly over the foil!

You  not only save your drain, clean up couldn’t be easier.

I told you this was a game changer!

Make Boiled Eggs Using A Coffee Pot With This Hack

Boiled Eggs Hack

How many boiled eggs do you think you go through this time of year? Between the coloring, the deviling and the return of egg salad in my Spring rotation, I can’t even begin to count. If you’re feeling like me this boiled egg season, here’s a hack that will have you brewing up a batch without turning on the stove.

Boiled Eggs Hack

We’re going to make boiled eggs in your coffee pot! I know how crazy it sounds but this hack couldn’t be easier and you’re not going to heat up the house.

INSTRUCTIONS

Place eggs straight into the coffee pot. Brew as normal then let sit approximately 15 min for soft and up to 30 min for hard.

And there you have it, perfectly boiled!

Here’s a Hack for Shredding Cheese With Ease

Cheese Shredding Hack

Do you buy pre-shredded cheese or grate it yourself? If you’re in the DIY category, you know what it means to struggle with a sticky grater. You’re left with cheese crumbles instead of nice shreds. Here’s a hack for shredding cheese with ease!

Does your grater leave your cheese looking like this? Not anymore! Here’s the answer: cooking oil.

Cheese Shredding Hack

A little bit of cooking spray right on your grater before shredding makes all the difference! I use 100% Pure Avocado Oil Spray.

Cheese Shredding Hack

Can you believe the difference? I told you this was an easy hack!

Use Leftover Tomato Paste to Make These Flavor Bombs

Tomato Paste Flavor Bombs

Do you have a partially used can of tomato paste in your refrigerator? Growing up, it was a refrigerator staple found on the top shelf, all the way to the back, also known as the black hole. Here’s a way to reuse what you have leftover: Flavor Bombs! Grab an ice tray and follow me!

Tomato Paste Flavor Bombs

Take your can of leftover tomato paste and scoop out a tablespoon into each tray slot. Add a quarter tablespoon of garlic, a generous sprinkle of basil, give it a stir and pop it into the freezer!

You can add these flavor bombs to pasta, eggs, soup, rice, pretty much anything! Except for brownies…I don’t think I’d stick them in brownies.

Enjoy!
